The great thing about communicating in person is that you can gauge their reaction and see their behavior. Honeycomb measures the behavior you can't see. The standard web server log report typically does not provide all the information we need - they do, however, cure insomnia quite effectively. We use real-time analytics as actionable feedback to determine whether we should change the website marketing efforts, the website content, or both.
