Lead & Inquiry Management
Honeycomb can integrate with any content on the Internet and capture Leads and Inquiries. Websites, mobile web, Apps, Flash, emails or anything that can send a http request can send Leads and Inquiries into Honeycomb. It also tracks Leads and inquiries back to the keywords, Media Placement, Campaign, referring site and content that generated the conversion. Workflow after the Lead or Inquiry is captured can be fully automated to de-dupe, auto respond, process fulfillment and distribute to Members and Industry Partners.
Lead Nurturing
Honeycomb can store additional data to each Person. Activities and Tasks provide your team actionable items that streamline your detection of opportunities and errors. Using transaction data from other systems (e.g. Reservations, Itineraries, Fulfillment) you can identify People who have contacted you in the last 72 hours but haven’t converted. These selected individuals can received transactional emails about specific data or bulk releases encouraging them to act now.
Inquiry Fulfillment Automation
Honeycomb can automate the process of getting publication requests and other Inquiries to fulfillment. The format needed by fulfillment is customized. The delivery is scheduled and set to a time of day. Track the fulfillment on a Dashboard to ensure accuracy. If you process fulfillment yourself, print labels directly from exports.
Manage Subscriber's List
Honeycomb stores information about people in CRM. Their communication preferences and interests can be customized to your marketing objectives. Communicating to Subscriber Lists is as easy as running a report on everyone that has opted-in. And they can change their preferences at any time. The list management is CAN-SPAM Act compliant ensuring that people who have opted out from the domain won’t receive information.
Customizable Fields
Honeycomb allows you to create hundreds of customizable fields whenever you want. And you can add databases when you want. If you plan to use Honeycomb for data warehousing or aggregating data for business intelligence the customization is very flexible.
Build Profile & Preferences
The heart of Honeycomb’s data storage is People. Everything they do and everything about them is stored in Honeycomb. Reporting on preferences can help you understand your target audience. Blending that against the advertising that converted them will help you optimize your advertising.
De-duping Technology
The default field used to de-duplicate is an email address. But any field in a Person’s profile can be used to find duplicates. You can use fields from incoming data (e.g. Reservations, Itineraries) to identify duplicates. The de-duping feature in Honeycomb also allows you to set a look back period to identify similar transactions. This provides assurance the publication requests aren’t abused.
Integrates with Mobile, Apps, Web
Honeycomb lives in the cloud and can be accessed from anywhere. Any Internet connection can send data into Honeycomb and receive that data as well. You can capture Inquiries, Reservations, Opt-Ins, Profile updates, Impressions, Click-Thrus, Social Media, Email activity, Sweepstakes Sign Ups, SMS (texting) and Call Center activity. Honeycomb serves data from Profiles, Business Listings, Inventory and any database to these same locations. A wide variety of protocols are supported including HTTP, HTTPS, JSON, JSONP and SMTP.
Lead Distribution Automation
Two queries are used to automate Lead distribution. Leads are selected for distribution through a query based on what, who and when. For example, it selects Texans who requested a Visitor Guide yesterday. A list of industry partners are selected to receive Leads based on their Account information or the program(s) in which they participate. This feature is not limited to Leads, it can access other information in Honeycomb.
Campaign Management
People can automatically become members of a Campaign through tracking URLs. People can also be collected by filters and added to Campaigns in a few click strokes. By setting your emails to be delivered to Campaigns at future dates, you can set up the Campaign to run ahead of time. People can be added to the Campaign at any time and get the scheduled communications. Dashboards can be used to track Campaign progress and performance.
ROI/Cost Per Lead/Acquisition/Conversion
Every conversion in Honeycomb is tracked by to a Media Placement and Campaign. Dividing the cost of these into the Leads credited with those provides Cost Per Acquisition, Cost Per Lead calculations. Honeycomb knows that not all Leads and Conversions are equal (e.g. Reservations vs. Email Opt-In, Out-Of-State vs. Locals). These are factored into the performance measurement to provide true Return on Investment and Return On Ad Spend calculations.
Content & Message Optimization
One of the properties that Honeycomb captures during a conversion is the Content. The Content property can represent an Ad’s creative (e.g. imagery vs. price), Facebook post, link, image clicked or an email subject line. Then reports can reveal which messages are performing best for conversion and life time value.

Advertising Management
Honeycomb stores 100% of your advertising budget in Media Placements. Broadcast, print production costs, SEO, PPC, banner ads, email campaigns, leads programs can all be stored in one location. A Campaign can have multiple Media Placements that store information on where your budget is spent. Media Placements are tracked back to results. You can build the tracking URLs in Honeycomb and connect to bit.ly accounts for tiny URLs. Honeycomb can calculate burn rates and send reminders when ads go live. Honeycomb also captures communications with media vendors and has templates to deliver creative and tracking URLs.
Advertising ROI & ROAS
Honeycomb calculates the true Return on Investment by dividing the cost of Media Placements into the revenue generated. Sourcing reservations, bookings, rentals and other revenues back to People in Honeycomb provides you a measure of their lifetime value. Honeycomb also has the cost to acquire that Person. Often, it takes more than one touch to convert a Person. Honeycomb captures the total cost to convert that Person and divides it into their lifetime value.
Insertion Orders
All your media vendor communications and contracts are stored in Honeycomb. Plan your media buys strategically by analyzing budget allocations to target audience, campaigns, geographic location, website or any other segment you create. Seemingly endless media vendor phone calls and emails can be organized and streamlined to make the negotiations efficient. Capturing these communications ensures they deliver as promised.

Shows Listings From Database
Honeycomb will synchronize data from Members and Industry Partners with the CMS database. This provides the fastest web browsing experience for the User. Immediate updates that can’t wait for the nightly updates can be made. Business Listings can be presented in summary format or with detail pages that link to Reservations, Social Media and the Member’s website(s).
Website Conversion Rate Tracking
Honeycomb captures both website traffic and conversions from key pages. By dividing how many times a conversion page was viewed into how many People converted from it you get the most accurate Website Conversion Rate. Honeycomb can automate alerts to identify when conversion pages are broken and ensuring your website(s) are functioning. Use a dashboard report to tracking Website Conversion Rates daily. And you can use this feature to optimize landing page layout and messaging.
Calendar Of Events
Events are managed and stored in CMS. They can be linked to Member or Industry Partner information. Calendar widgets and lists can be used to present Events to website visitors.
Serves Member Data To Website Listings
Manage your website listings in Honeycomb’s Member data. Any or all of the Member data can surface to the website, mobile web or mobile apps. Changing their categories changes the website navigation.
Serves Member Offers To Website
Members can have multiple offers, events or coupons. Website content can filter these based on dates, price or member category. Links to registration on the Member’s website can be surface.
Serves Event Registration To Website
Events Registrations can be taken from the website. Transactions are stored in the Member’s Account.
Role Based Security
Each User can be provided access to specific areas of website content. They can also be assigned to Roles or Groups. Roles provide permissions to content and features (in a heirarchy if needed). Groups provided naming conventions to help organize Users and content areas. Administrators have access to all content and manage the Users.
Itineraries For Events
Honeycomb stores all the data about an Event including itinerary details like location, maps, images and descriptions. The itinerary can be related to Members and Industry Partners and drive traffic to their websites.
Member Management
Member & Industry Partner Management
Honeycomb centralizes the data for your Members and Industry Partners in CRM. The difference between Members & Industry Partners is how you organize the data. Hundreds of fields can be added to configure their information for your needs. All the activity is stored in their Account or at the Contact level to record phone calls, contracts, emails and reminders.
Member & Industry Partner Listings
Honeycomb lives in the Cloud. Member & Industry Partner data can surface to websites, email lists, mobile apps and anywhere on the Internet. They can be added to multiple categories to show in website navigation. Map coordinates can be used to generate maps with categories.
Member Intranet
Members and Industry Partners can access their Account information over the web. You choose what they can access.
Member Billing
Dues can be structured for Events, Membership, Advertising or other items. The invoice can be delivered by email or downloaded.
A/R for Membership
Enter or import your collections from Membership and calculate open balances. These statements can be emailed directly from Honeycomb to Members. Reminders can be used to manage the outstanding balances and follow up. Listings can be turned off automatically for late payments.
Report on Activity for a Member or Industry Partner
All activity for a Member is recorded in Honeycomb’s CRM. Member details page views, outbound links can be retrieved from Google Analytics. Advertising impressions and Leads for members can be imported (and automated) to show holistic value delivered to a Member or Industry Partner.
Record Activity for a Member or Industry Partner
All the phone calls, emails, contracts, tasks and reminders for Members and Industry Partners are stored in Honeycomb. Automated workflow ensures efficient and accurate management. Information from Ad Delivery Systems, Reservations and other third-party systems can be imported into Honeycomb to complete the activity for Members and Industry Partners.

Dashboards
Dashboards are built with widgets and underlying reports. And data in Honeycomb can be presented on a Dashboard. Critical Dashboards can be emailed to you at defined intervals. They are often used to present marketing performance to Boards, team members, Members and Industry Partners.
Import Data Through A Wizard
Honeycomb can received information over the Web, in email attachments, imported through the Wizard or via Data Loader. The Import Wizard can be used on PC, Mac or Linux to import Leads, Contacts, Impressions, Traffic or any custom database.
Outlook Connector
Honeycomb has a connector that will synchronize email, calendar and contacts in Microsoft Outlook. Separate licenses are needed for each user that connects.
Google Analytics Connection
Honeycomb automates the process of collecting summary information from Google Analytics. Settings determine what Profiles and Page Views are retrieved. This information can be used to automate error detection and monitor Website Conversion Rates.
Workflow Automation
Honeycomb automates workflow on any record creation, edit or deletion. Alerts can be emailed to Team Members when an event occurs. Auto response emails provide confidence to People that their information was received, the reservation was made or their profile has been updated.
Ad Hoc Reports
Reports can be built on any related data in Honeycomb. Hundreds of reports come with the installation. Often using a standard report as a base to create your own is the easiest method. A report builder wizard will walk you through building a custom report from scratch. Reports are stored in folders you manage to help stay organized.
Access The Solution Via Mobile Or App
Honeycomb can be accessed by any device over the Web. An iPhone App also exists. IPads are faster over the Web will full functionality than the App.
Group Sales
Manage Group Sales
The Sales Cloud in Honeycomb stores Leads, their associated Opportunities, Contracts, Proposals and Communications. Team members nurture Leads all the way through to communicating closed/won business to Members & Industry Partners. Management can visualized the Sales Funnel. Your team’s methodology is configured in Honeycomb to automate the worklow and provide performance reporting.
Capture RFPs From The Web
Honeycomb can capture Leads for Group Sales from any website connection including LinkedIn, Mobile Web and Facebook. Leads can be imported from spreadsheets. When Leads are captured workflow can be automated to alert Sales team members, create follow up reminders and assign Tasks. Leads are de-duped based upon any field in the record; email address, phone number, name or external system ID.
Connect To Third-Party Systems
Honeycomb can connect to other systems and retrieve data for Leads, Opportunities and Member & Industry Partner data. Data from conferences, Elite Meetings and Empowermint can all be connected. Then workflow rules are used to assign Tasks to team members to ensure execution.
Communicate Sales Status To Members & Industry Partners
As Opportunities progress toward Closed/Won, Members and & Industry Partners can received communications. And that data can be shared on websites they can access. Members & Industry Partners can contribute to Proposals over the web to facilitate proposal creation.
Distribute Leads To Members & Industry Partners
Honeycomb can distribute Leads to Members & Industry Partners through two queries. The first query is used to gather the Leads and Opportunities that should be distributed. The second query identifies the Members & Industry Partners that should receive specific data about a Lead and Opportunity. This process is automated to run daily, weekly, monthly. It can be scheduled to run after Leads are retrieved from third-party systems like Empowermint.
Draft Proposals With Member & Industry Partner Data
Member & Industry Partner data is stored in Honeycomb. That data includes facility specifications and services. This data can be served to your website or used to build proposals. They can create or edit their information over the web to provide assurance to most accurate information is available and reduce staff time maintaining it.
